Ocean 11 01:07
our lives are like waves in the ocean a Shakespearean play in motion all the chances we take all the choices we make let the circus begin our lives are like waves in the ocean the ocean the ocean

Berlin Wall 04:20
when the wall came tumbling down and the guards were beaten we just stood by the gates watched the old world retreating In life time's running out all the time In life deadlines come and go yet we survive In life nothing is forever so they say before they are swept away and when my world came tumbling down and the old house shook and crumbled I just stood in the crowd bedazzled and humble In life everyone's an expert and a judge In life people with opinions never budge In life they can have their moment in the light Before tomorrow strikes I'm not afraid anymore I left my doubts at the door I'm past the demons of the past and the long shadow they cast I am the eye of the storm I am calm and I'm warm I am the change in the sea everything I can be the Berlin the Berlin the Berlin wall did fall in the end

Your longing makes me numb so let's not jump the gun the marketplace is closed your nostalgia exposed All this talk is vain there's nothing to explain I like to be alone In a world of my own I am not an object in your tidy little world You cannot buy me with a waterfall of words Your stories full of fateful dates Just won’t resonate First they make me doubt you And then they burn me out Somewhere along your script I cease to exist your number’s still the same You haven’t really changed I am not a footnote in your shiny resume Nor am I fabricated by your fantasies I’m sorry but I’m real And this is how I feel Your mother might not like it but this is how I tick I don’t want to yell again And be rude to your friends and as your patience goes your disappointment shows I'm better off alone in a world of my own I am not a character in anybody's play happy endings have never been my forte I’m sorry but I’m real And this is how I feel

the genie's out the lines are connected the images have slowly manifested and the world is so small unlike ever before and in a while rivers widen to oceans and story lines magnify in slow motion and a lifetime is short unlike ever before yeah the world is so small you cannot miss her at all and a lifetime is short unlike ever before yeah the world is so small you cannot miss her at all yeah the world is so small unlike ever before it's a small world it's a small world it's a small world it's a small world it's a small world it's a small world and a lifetime is short

I Thought 03:17
i thought you were gone a small memory an island alone in the ravenous sea i thought I was wrong a flicker so faint erased by the fog engulfing the flame i thought you never actually were for real strip me of my foolish skins leave me out to dry with my face to the wind there never was a horse in the park I conjured it up to keep the story coming i thought you were gone haunting and proud so far yet so close so certain with doubt i thought I was wrong a day on the beach our fingers of sand too crumbled to reach i thought you never actually were for real

I'll give you these shoes these rubber-souled shoes so we can walk this way together they’re only for you and they are ready to move ‘cause there's bound to be bad weather we’re headed for the storm of the century I really want you I said I really want you to walk in these shoes we just might reach the end of the universe walking these shoes we're gonna get wet but that’s not too bad ‘cause it's not all lovey dovey just give it some time it’s all in our minds and if we want ourselves a story it just might be the story of the century I really want you I said I really want you to walk in these shoes we just might reach the end of the universe we just might need a hand from the universe to carry us through a hand from the universe walking these shoes ‘cause I really want you You know I really want you to walk in these shoes we just might reach the end of the universe we just might leave a dent in the universe we just might need … a hand we just might need a hand

Floating 03:46
nothing to do nowhere to go I'm doing my rounds without eyes with no ears and no mouth slicing up hours into pointless appointments sitting on chairs that will not take me anywhere where's my place I'm floating in a meaningless space where's my place I'm trying to hold onto your face I'm trying to hold onto your face the curtain's drawn the oxygen's gone from under this mask the face on TV is screaming at me with no voice wrapping the moments into toothless excuses a show of cards at the casino for the blind where's my place I'm floating in a meaningless space where's my place I'm trying to hold onto your face where's the hunger the danger the gold where's the passion the brazen and bold i'm trying to hold onto your face I'm trying to hold onto your face

sand dunes and bird song it felt just like the movies and the story was sublime seagulls and salt on your tongue words came never easy so we'd read between the lines can we? do we? imagine what could be suspending our beliefs juggling the world in my hands it couldn't have been more fragile so soft and exposed on the outside now it all amounts to nothing sand dunes and bird song the sound has been deleted though the scene won't go away seagulls and salt on your tongue a silent movie trailer for a film we never made can we? do we? abandon what should be let go of all it means turning the world upside down I wish it had really mattered we were sacrificed at the altar and wound up on medication we will be there we'll taste the air we will be there maybe a year we will be there

potholes make the journey slow across the road the snowflakes blow signposts have nothing to show while our trepidation grows we could bowl the traffic cones one by one (4x) 'til they're gone keep your hands around the wheel into unknown territory fingertips are frozen stiff fog is rising from your lips we could bowl the traffic cones one by one (4x) 'til they're gone one by one here they come now they come undone cone by cone the sound of crushing bone as they are going down going down bust the map inside your head all is done and all is said the universe will bring us round little engines making sound we could bowl the traffic cones one by one (4x) as they come here they come one by one here they come now they come undone cone by cone the sound of crushing bone as they are going down one by one…

Ocean 22 03:24
our lives are like waves in the ocean we entangle ourselves with devotion our lives are like waves in the ocean a Shakespearean play in motion all the chances we take all the choices we make let the circus begin our lives are like waves in the ocean the ocean the ocean step from your row, come join the show the world's your stage and you are the cast watch it unfold, hear what is told one man in time plays many parts our lives are like waves in the ocean a Shakespearean world in motion all the moments we shape and the hearts that we break let the circus begin our lives are like waves in the ocean the ocean the ocean
