about

Picture yourself in the cab of an old van, with an old, special friend of yours. It's snowing, and sleet and potholes make driving difficult.
The only thing you recognise through the meek choreography of the windshield wipers are the traffic cones lined up by the side of the road.
You decide to crush them, leaving you with a blank, white canvas, entrusting your fate to an unseen force: the ultimate abandon.

lyrics

potholes make the journey slow
across the road the snowflakes blow
signposts have nothing to show
while our trepidation grows
we could bowl the traffic cones
one by one 'til they're gone

keep your hands around the wheel
into unknown territory
fingertips are frozen stiff
fog is rising from your lips
we could bowl the traffic cones
one by one 'til they're gone

one by one
here they come
now they come undone
cone by cone
the sound of crushing bone
as they are going down
going down

bust the map inside your head
all is done and all is said
the universe will bring us 'round
little engines making sound
we could bowl the traffic cones
one by one as they come

one by one
here they come
now they come undone
cone by cone
the sound of crushing bone
as they are going down
going down

come undone
